2026-2027 Registration

Any families with children entering school this fall, in any grade, please register your child/ren ASAP. We are beginning to prepare for next school year, and having children registered earlier rather than later helps us anticipate the number of students we can expect and plan accordingly and effectively as possible.

Bike safety

As the weather starts to get nicer and more children will start biking to school, please ensure your child is wearing a proper helmet and remind them to follow the bike safety rules.

ABOUT US

Minnewasta School is an early years school located in Morden, Manitoba and is part of The Western School Division. Our school is home to approximately 250 students and about 40 staff members. Our caring and supportive staff provide various learning avenues for children to feel successful at school. With a strong focus on relationships, we work closely with families to create a supportive community where each child feels valued, safe, and inspired to grow.

The mission of Minnewasta School is to provide a friendly, safe and respectful place where students, staff, parents/guardians and community work together to encourage lifelong learning. Minnewasta's staff will use the best available resources to challenge all students in a caring and competent way, respecting each child as an individual.
